PepsiCo International Beverages
Project Management & Head of Operations
Contracting with the International Beverages Global Design Studio based in Dublin, I worked on a number of projects across their brand portfolio; initially project managing workflows across Gatorade and Mountain Dew beverage brands, before undertaking the global project management for Pepsi Titan, a rebrand of the flagship Pepsi brand worldwide excluding North America.
Following a successful global launch for Titan, I was asked to take on the role of Head of Operations for the Global Design Studio. This brief focused on the commercial side of the studio; overseeing budget allocations, developing project workflows, managing freelance resources and contract negotiations with agencies and suppliers. I also worked across a number of special projects, including the development of the innovative Pepsi Smart can device.
In addition to managing the development of the Gatorade Global assets bank, I also provided photography services, creating product visuals to support launches for the various bespoke promotional packs that the design team developed for their sports ambassador rosters.
Alongside Gatorade, I also provided product photography for Pepsi’s influencer pack innovations, capturing the Pepsi x Biggie presentation pack and bespoke can. I also was involved in the development of the innovative Pepsi Smart Can, working on commercial negotiations and vendor contracts.
My biggest project for PepsiCo was Global Creative Project Manager for Pepsi Titan. This was an enormous brief, developing the workflow tools and processes to manage the project centrally in International Beverages, oversee asset development review processes across the regional design studios, and reporting to PepsiCo design leadership on project delivery.

Valeo Foods
Head of Studio
In a partnership between OwensDDB and Valeo Foods, I designed and built Valeo’s in-house creative studio, the ValeoLab. This was a ‘white wall’ project and I was brought onboard to build out the studio space, equip the onsite team and centralise creative development alongside Valeo’s brand marketing team. The studio focused primarily on packaging development, point of sale, and social content; and we also built on offsite production set for filming recipe content for Valeo’s own brand portfolio.
This was a wide remit brief and I also developed a large body of packaging design work across Valeo’s stable of brands – in renovation, extension, and NPD across categories; promotional brochures and POS materials for Valeo Healthcare; and point of sale for owned and distributed brands with retail partners.
In addition to Valeo’s retail brand portfolio, I also worked with their Wine, Spirits and Coffee business, Findlater & Co. developing their premium coffee brand trade material and packaging, and delivering POS assets for their wine portfolio.
These projects, across trade and retail brands, delivered significant savings to the business, allowing for closer collaboration with marketing teams and equipping the HoReCa channel with creative assets that were not available to them previously.
The ValeoLab worked on projects of all sizes and scope, but major packaging renovation briefs provided an opportunity to drive the creative direction for a household brand on-shelf, engage customers at the point of purchase; and deliver meaningful commercial impact for Valeo Foods.
Odlums Breakfast Range was one such project and you can read more about this project via the link below.

Croke Park
Digital Platform Development Contract
One of those career highlight contracts. A defined deliverable contract, I worked with Croke Park to redevelop the stadium’s website. The initial brief was to project manage the development of a digital platform that could grow into the future, otherwise the brief was open for me to write.
Croke Park is a unique place, steeped in history and cultural significance. It’s about sport, community, belonging; it represents much of what it is to be Irish, our culture and traditions. It’s also the 4th biggest stadium in Europe, headquarters of the GAA, the largest sporting organisation in the country, an events centre, concert venue, a sporting museum and community hub.
This was a project of scale and scope, and hugely rewarding. As I developed the brief, this became much more than a Project Management contract. This was about storytelling and communicating to visitors what goes on behind the imposing facades of the home of Gaelic Games. I expanded my brief, designing the UX and UI in-house, developing the visual style and a highly detailed backend development brief for the agency tasked with building the platform. That budget was then allocated to creating and commissioning photographic and video assets; capturing the magic of match day, the excitement of an arena tour concert, the renovated meeting and event spaces, and the people who make Croke Park what it is.
